Thai Sakon Restaurant

This is a very pleasant restaurant. Service is attentive to the point of being, if anything, a little obsequious (though, I guess, you can't blame staff for making a special effort for a couple of new blow-ins who might become regulars). We popped in for their "early bird" offer. Our meals were most enjoyable, if a little salty in the case of one dish. Everything had clearly been freshly cooked to order and there was immediate and courteous attention paid to a fussy ingredient request on my part. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The bill was entirely reasonable and we had a very enjoyable evening. By the time we left, the place had filled up. I would suggest booking in advance if planning to eat after 7.00 pm. If you like Thai cuisine, go. This is a good eatery with a pleasant ambiance and attentive serving staff.

There was 12 of us . Lovely table & decor. Took some time sorting how to order different menu choices. Service was very good once up & running. Food was exquisite starter & main. .Gd choice veg ,vegan , normal. Gd choice drink. Place was absolutely full as night progressed. Meal was excellent ,hot & tender. Been before & will go again. X
