I gave The Woods a glowing review on their Fcbk page. They just get it right, in every way. Worth travelling to Leeds for, it is like eating in an oasis.

Contemporary bar with three floors of seating areas, one of them being a roof top . It has a great selection of hand pulled ales, keg and spirits. A brilliant place to meet up with friends

A cafe bar, multiple floors, modern bright decor, the food is reasonably priced and the sharing plates we had were lovely and great value. The coffee is good and they have a wide variety of beers etc. There is also a nice outside seating area, to the front, and I was told they have a rooftop bar too, although not open when we visited. Overall definitely a place to recommend and visit again.

Finally back up and running after what must be about a year after the fire. Pretty much as it was before: decent beers, good pizza and mostly good music. 2nd floor event space not open yet. Near radio-silence on social media about rebuilding and reopening so they must be confident of picking up where they left off.
